Umkhumbi Wesizwe is registered as a BBBEE company that does not distribute profits and is dedicated to social housing. We specialize in social housing-based rental accommodation for the low to middle income category. We are committed to working with government and other stakeholders to provide decent social housing for our people. We have amended our MOI to more correctly reflect the company as a not-for-profit entity in compliance with the Social Housing Act and regulations.

VISION
UWSH seeks to be a leader in the provision of Social Housing stock in partnership with Public and Private sector role players in an environment characterised by empowerment of civil society as direct beneficiaries of subsidised rental accommodation in the first place and active participants in social economic development in the second place.
MISSION
UWSH shall ensure the alignment of its activities and outcomes with broad strategic objectives of government with regards to issues of reversal of the impact of past policies in the specific focus areas of planning, access to job opportunities and entrepreneurial development for target groups.
